New Orleans
New Orleans is a major United States port and the largest city and metropolitan area in the state of Louisiana. The city is located in southeastern Louisiana, straddling the Mississippi River. Known for its French Creole architecture and cross cultural and multilingual heritage, New Orleans is also famous for its cuisine, music (birthplace of jazz), and Mardi Gras. New Orleans has many major attractions, like the world-renowned French Quarter with Bourbon Street's notorious nightlife and quaint accommodations like The Inn on Bourbon. Magazine Street is also popular with its many boutique stores and antique shops.
