Peter Olsen Celebrates 30th Anniversary on Radio NL with Wells Gray Tours

Local Kamloops radio personality Peter Olsen, known as the Morning Mayor of Radio NL, is celebrating his 30th Anniversary with NL in style -- on board Wells Gray Tours' 40th Anniversary Celebration Cruise to Alaska. In partnership with Wells Gray tours, Radio NL is giving away a trip for two on board this 8-day Alaska cruise tour, traveling with Peter Olsen and his wife Brenda. Here’s a follow up to our last entry about Every Destination Has a Story: Slaton, Texas.
Dawn’s research trip to West Texas proved to be a very interesting one. She learned Slaton’s story by spending time with local residents, and visiting the towns historic sites and shops. When Dawn returned to B.C., she planned a 11-day tour to the Slaton area in West Texas, plus Oklahoma.
