Happy Valentine’s Day
February 14th is celebrated by many countries around the world. This wonderful day of love and romance dates back to the 5th century though the custom of sending cards, flowers, chocolates and other gifts originated in the UK.
It is a day to share your heart and remember those who have touched your life with love and kindness. In my Valentines blog of 2014, https://www.wellsgraytours.com/happy-valentines-day/, I shared memories of making valentine cards out of construction paper, glue, glitter, white doilies which were adorned with funny little messages. I have fond memories of those days, sitting around the table with my family trying to come up with the right message for everyone that was a part of my life.
I am looking forward to Valentine’s Day this year as I do every year. I love giving and receiving chocolates and planning to do something special with friends to celebrate. It is the perfect day to put down the TV remote, turn off the IPad and spend time with your special someone. It is also a great time to remember family and friends that have provided you with love and support over the years.
