Solution:
We stayed October 30 and 31 at Arenal Manoa Hotel in Fortuna, located at the base of Arenal Volcano. "Renal" refers to kidneys. We rode the sky tram, skimming across the forest canopy toward the volcano. It last erupted in 2009 after 30 years of constant activity. There is still some smoke and steam rising.
Winner was Dave Rolston.
Dave had figured out early that this Mystery Tour was going to Costa Rica and carved 40 little hummingbirds, one for each passenger, as a memento.
