Take the Quarantine Travel Photo Challenge and Win!

Ever since the COVID-19 pandemic cancelled all of our travel plans in March, we’ve only been able to dream about adventures to exotic destinations. However, being at home during a pandemic can be an adventure in itself. All it takes is a bit of creativity and imagination. Lithuanian photographer, traveler, writer, and journalist Liudas Dapkus invited others to take part in the “quarantine travel photo challenge” that his colleague Gabrielė Štaraitė came up with and the challenge went viral. In the challenge, people are asked to recreate their best travel photos from the safety of their homes. People have been posting their photos on social media under the hashtag #quarantinetravelerchallenge with hilarious results. See some of the photos here.

We thought this could be a fantastic opportunity for a new photo contest. So now you can participate in the challenge and win some great prizes. Just email your travel photo vs. quarantine photos to kerrie@wellsgraytours.com.

One entry per person.

Your photos will be shared on our Facebook page and the photo with the most “likes” will win a $300 travel voucher! Second prize will be awarded a $200 travel voucher and third prize will win a $100 travel voucher. Roland will also pick his favourite photo and the winner will receive a $300 travel voucher. These vouchers will be good on any future tour with Wells Gray Tours. Submit your travel and quarantine photo by June 1, 2020. Voting will run for an extra week until June 5th, 2020.
