We Appreciate YOU!

A huge ‘thank you’ to our fantastic clients who joined us for a fun afternoon of tea and refreshments at our Client Appreciation Teas over the past few weeks. We had a full house in every community and hosted over 500 customers. Wells Gray Tours is celebrating our 47th anniversary this year, and we couldn’t do it without your support. We are unbelievably lucky to have such a wonderful group of customers and we loved catching up with all of you.

At the teas, we were thrilled to announce our 2018 Most Frequent Traveller Award recipients. In 1st place was Mary-Lou Gardiner of Vernon with 10 tours in 2018. She was also the 9th customer in Wells Gray Tours history to be awarded the 7 Continents Award, for visiting all seven continents with Wells Gray Tours. In a very close 2nd place, was Roger Bourque of Kamloops with 9 tours in 2018. Unfortunately, Roger was unable to accept his award in person…because he was on a Mississippi River Cruise with Wells Gray Tours. Congratulations to you both!

We also played a Wells Gray Tours version of ‘Let’s Make a Deal’ with prizes of travel vouchers ranging from $20 to $300 for our lucky winners.

Martin Aldrich, from Adventure Canada, joined us at four of the teas to tell us all about Adventure Canada’s expedition cruise offerings for 2019 and 2020. We are thrilled to partner with Adventure Canada, a fellow Canadian, family-owned company who share our values and commitment to amazing customer experiences. For more than thirty years, Adventure Canada has been taking people to some of the most inspiring destinations on the planet and Martin shared some incredible videos from their recent expeditions. We are excited to announce that we can now book you directly on any of Adventure Canada’s amazing expedition cruises. Call us to find out more about these once-in-a-lifetime adventures!

Take Advantage of our Partnership with Adventure Canada

Here are a few great options for your next trip with Adventure Canada:

There are only a few seats left for our group on Adventure Canada’s Northwest Passage Expedition Cruise this August:
Northwest Passage Expedition Cruise – August 16, 2019 – 19 Days
We spend 17 days on board the Ocean Endeavour which carries only 198 passengers and is specially equipped for Arctic voyages. First, we experience the quaint villages, dramatic fjords, and calving glaciers of Greenland. After crossing Davis Strait, we visit Qikiqtarjuaq, the iceberg capital of Nunavut, and pay respects at the Franklin Expedition graves on Beechey Island. Somerset and Devon Islands offer opportunities to spot caribou, polar bear, walrus, and muskox, and for visits to ghostly RCMP and Hudson’s Bay posts. Parry Channel and Peel Sound afford a passage to Queen Maud Gulf and onward along Victoria Island to our destination, Kugluktuk, the end of our epic journey above the Arctic Circle. Meet the Inuit who have called this remarkable place home for generations. Attend daily presentations on the ship and listen to experts in many fields related to the Northwest Passage and the Arctic. Explore secluded bays and channels using the ship’s fleet of zodiacs and get very close to stunning glaciers and icebergs.
