What could be better than The Leavenworth Christmas Lights and the musical Mary Poppins together on one tour?

What could be better than The Leavenworth Christmas Lights and the musical Mary Poppins together on one tour?  Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious, I am sure Mary Poppins would say.

This tour is perfectly timed to capture the magic of the beautiful BavarianVillage of Leavenworth when it is adorned with millions of lights.Nestled in Washington’s Cascade Mountains you will feel you have travelled half way around the world instead of just going a few hours from home.

This tour is packed with wonderful things to take in. There is time to walk the village and visit the quaint and interesting artisan shops. I love walking around this little town and visiting the many little shops. There is always something that captures my eye and makes its way home with me.

There is an option to visit Red Tail farms and go for a sleigh ride. I can hear the “sleigh bells” ringing and Andy Williams singing the “Sleigh Ride” song can you?

In the evening there is a concert with acclaimed harpist withBronn Journey with vocal accompaniment by his wife Katherine.

In the morning we head across the SnoqualmiePass to Issaquah. Here we will stop for an afternoon performance of Mary Poppins.Growing up,oneof my favorite movies was the Disney production of Mary Poppins starring Julie Andrews and Dick VanDyke. I am excited to see this musical performed on stage and hear some of my favorite tunes like “A Spoonful of Sugar Helps the Medicine Go Down.”

After an overnight stay at the Embassy Suites in Lynnwood we head home but not without time to shop at the Bellis Fair Mall and the Duty Free Store.
