Kelowna - Marketing Consultant, CTP

Joan has been with Wells Gray Tours since 2009. She was previously our Director of Sales & Marketing but is now enjoying semi-retirement and working part-time as a Marketing Consultant. Prior to joining our team, Joan managed the Kelowna Visitor Information Center and was Tourism Kelowna’s Inbound Sales Manager for group and travel agents. She has also served as the Director and an Executive Board Member for the National Tour Association (NTA). Joan loves meeting our family of travellers and hearing about how our team has made their travel dreams come true. In her spare time Joan loves gardening and skiing, but her true passion is riding her beautiful horse, Jewel.

Favourite travel destination:
Joan says “Each destination is unique and offers different experiences, however it is the people I meet and the friends I have made that are my favorite part of any tour. I love collecting recipes from different places and sharing them with friends.”
