55th Anniversary Cruise on the Seine River

EARLY BOOKING INCENTIVES: On October 2, 2026, Scenic will recall our unsold suites and it is unlikely that we can secure more. Book by Thursday, September 17, 2026 Everybody receives an early booking discount of $300 per person. Additionally, everybody who is booked with deposit is entered in a draw to be held at 4 pm. The winner can choose: 1. an upgrade to the Royal One-Bedroom Suite on the Scenic Gem, or, 2. an upgrade on the flight to and from Paris into Business Class. Book by Friday, October 2, 2026 Everybody receives an early booking discount of $300 per person. Additionally, everybody who is booked with deposit is entered in a draw to be held at 4 pm on October 2. The winner will receive the prize that is not selected by the September 17 winner.

Documentation: A passport is required with an expiry date at least 6 months after you return to Canada. A visa is not required for a Canadian to enter France. The European Union is implementing a European Travel Information and Authorisation System (ETIAS), and it is scheduled to begin sometime in 2027. ETIAS is the new travel authorisation for visa-exempt travellers to enter 30 European countries. More information and instructions will be provided at final payment if available.

Currency & expenses: The Euro is the currency of France. As of July 2026, one Euro costs C$1.63. You should order Euros from your bank 1-2 weeks before departure, or plan to use ATMs. Credit cards are accepted almost everywhere. As this tour has been planned and priced 15 months before departure, it is possible that exchange fluctuations between the Canadian dollar and the Euro could affect the fare, in which case you will be notified of the increase or decrease. Your purchases on the ship are charged in Euros.

Gratuities: are included for the Paris guides, coach drivers, and guides and drivers for the ship’s shore excursions. The standard crew gratuities on board the ship are included, but a gratuity is expected for spa services. Gratuities to the Wells Gray tour director and Canadian drivers are not included and left to your discretion.

Flight seating: We are unable to take requests for window or aisle seating on the planes in any class. The airline will not accept them, as group seating is assigned as a block. If this is important to you, we suggest you take the “No Flight” option with a fare reduction that can be quoted in late November 2026 and book your own flight which allows seat selection. Please see our Terms and Conditions for more information on the “No Flight” option.

Flight upgrades: Please enquire about current prices for upgrades on the flights to and from Paris. Business class may be available. Quotes available in late November 2026.

Flight delays or cancellations: In the event flights are delayed or cancelled by airlines due to weather or other reasons, there may be additional costs to you. Wells Gray Tours will not pay for hotel rooms and meals during the delay. Most travel insurance policies cover expenses incurred for flight delays.

Food Allergies: You must notify us no later than at final payment if you have a food allergy. During the precruise touring, some restaurants may not be able to satisfy all food allergies. An allergy causes medical distress, a preference does not. Most food allergies can be handled at meals on the ship, but you may have to order 24 hours in advance. For some allergies, please consider bringing your own snacks or food items so you are not dependent on what restaurants are able to serve.

Rooms for singles: are often a different style or smaller size than twin rooms in hotels (not on ship). The Paris hotel may limit the number of single rooms for a group. Please book early if you prefer to travel single.

Triples: are not available on this tour.

Payments: A deposit of $1,000 per person is requested at the time of booking and the balance is due May 26, 2027. By paying the deposit, you agree to the Terms and Conditions, Activity Level, and Cancellation Policy outlined. Payments can be made by online banking or cheque (3% discount on tour fare), or by Visa or Mastercard.

Early booking bonus: Receive a $300 discount on all reservations until October 2, 2026. The discount is not offered after that.

Cancellation Policy: Up to April 1, 2027, your tour payments are refunded less a cancellation charge of $100 per person. From April 2 to May 26, the cancellation charge is $700 per person. From May 27 to June 25, the cancellation charge is 80% of the tour fare. After June 25, there is no refund.

Itinerary and Fare Changes: Our many suppliers may notify us about changes to the itinerary prior to departure and sometimes during the tour. We do our best to substitute a similar service if something cancels, but occasionally the only alternative is to provide a refund for the missed activity. Please note that if we are forced to cancel a tour component due to an issue beyond our control, the current penalties still apply if you choose to cancel the entire tour. As this tour has been planned 1½ years in advance, changes to foreign currency exchange rates and taxes, and surcharges from airlines, the cruise ship, and other tour suppliers can occur at any time and are beyond the control of Wells Gray Tours. The flight cannot be booked until 11 months before the return date (November 2026), so the included air fare has been estimated based on 2026 fares and could change.

Travel Insurance: A Comprehensive Insurance policy is available through Wells Gray Tours and coverage is provided by Travel Guard until September 8, 2026 and Battleface after that. Policies purchased at deposit include a waiver of the pre-existing condition clause for medical and cancellation claims, otherwise policies can be purchased no later than at final payment. Medical questionnaire is not needed. Please contact us for details. If you have your own travel insurance, please read the policy carefully to be sure that you are adequately covered for medical, cancellation, interruption, and luggage. Please do not travel outside British Columbia without medical insurance as a minimum. Insurance premiums are not refundable whether or not you make a claim.
