DEPARTURE POINTS & DATES
ACTIVITY LEVEL
Level
Moderate Activity: As a traveller you like a variety of activities and walking up to 2 km with breaks such as a guided walking tour is very doable for you without assistance. There will probably be stairs to climb or descend to get to your ballpark seats. Expect to walk from the hotel to the CN Tower, Tall Ship Kajama, Aquarium, and Hunter’s Landing dinner, and return. You may bring a cane or walking poles if needed. The coach cannot carry a scooter or motorized wheelchair. The tour director and driver have many responsibilities, so please do not expect them, or your fellow travellers, to provide ongoing assistance. If you are not capable of keeping up with the group or require frequent assistance, the tour director may stop you from participating in some activities or some days of the tour.
Tour Size
This tour is limited to 30 participants, making it a more intimate travel experience.
-
The Toronto Blue Jays: are a Canadian professional baseball team based in Toronto. They compete in the Major League Baseball (MLB) as a member club of the American League (AL) East division. They are the only Canadian team in the MLB. The Toronto Blue Jays have won two World Series Titles (in 1992 and 1993), three AL pennants (1992, 1993 and 2025), and have clinched the American League East Division six times. They came very close to winning the World Series against the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2025.
-
The New York Yankees: are a successful franchise in Major League Baseball history. Founded in 1901, they have won a record 27 World Series championships, beginning in 1923 and most recently in 2009. Legendary eras include the dominance of Babe Ruth in the 1920s, Joe DiMaggio’s teams of the 1930s and 1940s, and the Mickey Mantle years of the 1950s. More modern triumphs came with championships in 1996, 1998, 1999, and 2000, cementing a late-20th-century dynasty. Yankee Stadium is their home base.
-
Rogers Centre: Home to the Toronto Blue Jays since 1989, Rogers Centre (formerly named “Skydome”) is a landmark in the city’s skyline and a hub for sports and entertainment. Spanning 12.7 acres, this impressive ITINERARY venue can accommodate up to 40,000 spectators and has hosted everything from world-class concerts to major sporting events. While the structure remains largely unchanged since its opening, ongoing renovations continue to enhance the fan experience. Transforming the stadium from a baseball diamond to a concert venue is no small feat, taking about 40 hours. Rogers Centre holds a special place in Blue Jays history, as the site of their unforgettable 1993 World Series victory over the Philadelphia Phillies.
-
Flight seating: We are unable to take requests for window or aisle seating on the planes. The airline will not accept them, as group seating is assigned as a block. If this is important to you, we suggest you take the “No Flight” option with a fare reduction of $700 and book your own flight which allows seat selection. Please see our Terms & Conditions for more details on your responsibilities when choosing the “No Flight” option.
-
Flight upgrades: Please enquire about current prices for upgrades on the flights to Toronto and return. Premium economy and business class may be available.
-
Flight delays or cancellations: In the event flights are delayed or cancelled by airlines due to weather or other reasons, there may be additional costs to you. Wells Gray Tours will not pay for hotel rooms and meals during the delay. Most travel insurance policies cover expenses incurred for flight delays
-
Food Allergies: You must notify us no later than at final payment if you have a food allergy. An allergy causes medical distress, a preference does not. For some allergies, please consider bringing your own snacks or food items so you are not dependent on what restaurants are able to serve.
-
Options: You may have something else you would like to do in Toronto between the baseball games. You can opt-out of the CN Tower ($29 fare reduction), the Tall Ship cruise ($33), or Ripley’s Aquarium ($21). Please decide by final payment date.
-
Payment: A deposit of $400 per person is requested at the time of booking and balance is due June 10, 2026. By paying the deposit, you agree to the Terms & Conditions, Activity Level, and Cancellation Policy outlined. Payments can be made by online banking or cheque (3% discount on tour fare), or by Visa or Mastercard.
-
Early Booking Bonus: Receive a $100 discount on the first 10 seats and $50 on the next 6 seats for booking early with deposit. The discount is not offered after June 10, 2026.
-
Cancellation Policy: Up to May 8, 2026, the cancellation charge is $100 per person. From May 9 to June 10, the cancellation charge is $300 per person. From June 11 to July 10, the cancellation charge is 60% of the tour fare. After July 10, there is no refund.
-
Itinerary and Fare Changes: Our many suppliers may notify us about changes to the itinerary prior to departure and sometimes during the tour. We do our best to substitute a similar service if something cancels, but occasionally the only alternative is to provide a refund for the missed activity. Please note that if we are forced to cancel a tour component due to an issue beyond our control, the current penalties still apply if you choose to cancel the entire tour. Fuel surcharges and changes to taxes or other tour costs can occur at any time, therefore Wells Gray Tours reserves the right to increase fares due to such changes up to departure.
-
Baseball Game Delays or Cancellations: Baseball games can be delayed, postponed, cancelled, or rescheduled for a variety of reasons that are beyond our control. We know that this would be disappointing for our customers, but the only refund we might obtain for you would be the actual ticket price of the game. The hotel, flights, and other tour services are all prepaid and are non-refundable at short notice.
-
Travel Insurance: A Comprehensive Insurance policy is available through Wells Gray Tours and coverage is provided by Travel Guard. Policies purchased at deposit include a waiver of the pre-existing condition clause for medical and cancellation claims, otherwise policies can be purchased no later than at final payment. This tour stays in Canada, but medical costs can vary wildly from one province to another. While your BC Services Card may partly cover you for a medical issue that arises during the tour, you will probably benefit from trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage in case of illness or a mishap before or during the tour. Many other benefits such as luggage insurance are included. Medical questionnaire is not needed. Please contact us for details. If you have your own travel insurance, please read the policy carefully to be sure that you are adequately covered for medical, cancellation, interruption, and luggage.
