Canada’s top women’s curling event!

Get ready for the ultimate celebration of Canadian curling! Eighteen of the country’s top women’s teams will battle for the national championship — and the honour of wearing the maple leaf at the 2026 BKT World Women’s Curling Championship. Defending champion Team Homan returns as Team Canada, joined by three pre-qualified contenders from the 2024–25 Canadian Team Ranking System and 14 provincial and territorial champions. Split into two nine-team pools, each team plays an eight-game round robin before the top contenders advance through the thrilling Page playoff system. With three draws Thursday and the entire championship weekend — Friday qualifiers, Saturday playoffs, and Sunday’s semi-final and championship final — this tour puts you at the heart of the drama, intensity, and pride of the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

Light Activity: You are a traveller who prefers a limited amount of physical activity. You can climb a flight of stairs, board a coach, stand for short periods, and walk at a leisurely pace
with breaks for up to 30 minutes without difficulty or assistance. At airports, you must handle your own luggage to the check-in counter, from luggage claim to the coach, and maybe walk long distances to your gate. There are probably stairs to climb or descend to get to your stadium seats.

You may bring a cane to support your mobility, but walkers are not suitable for this tour. The coaches cannot carry a scooter or motorized wheelchair. The tour director and drivers have many responsibilities, so please do not expect them, or your fellow travellers, to provide ongoing assistance.

TOUR NOTES & POLICIES

  • The History Of The Scotties: The 2026 Scotties Tournament of Hearts, marks the 45th consecutive year of Kruger Products sponsorship of the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship. Kruger Products is the longest national corporate sponsor of amateur sport in Canada. It was in St. John’s at the 1981 Lassie that Scott Paper Limited officially made the commitment to the Canadian Curling Association (now known as Curling Canada) to sponsor the Canadian Women’s Curling Championship. Since then, the efforts of thousands of volunteers, along with the Curling Canada staff, have resulted in one of Canada’s best-known women’s sporting events — the Scotties Tournament of Hearts.

  • Paramount Fine Foods Centre: is owned and operated by the City of Mississauga. Opened in 1998, it has become a premier sports and entertainment facility in the Greater Toronto Area. To date the facility has hosted over 3000 event days and welcomed more than 4 million guests. The Paramount Centre is proud to be home to the Raptors 905 basketball team which is part of the NBA G League (the official minor league of the NBA). Capacity is about 5,000 spectators.

  • Seating: Seating for all games is in the Premium category which means center sections and end zones.

  • Flight seating: We are unable to take requests for window or aisle seating on the planes. The airline will not accept them, as group seating is assigned as a block. If this is important to you, we suggest you take the “No Flight” option with a fare reduction of $640 and book your own flight which allows seat selection.

  • Flight upgrades: Please enquire about current prices for upgrades on the flights to and from Toronto. Business class may be available.

  • Payments: A deposit of $200 per person is requested at the time of booking and balance is due November 25, 2025. By paying the deposit, you agree to the Terms & Conditions, Activity Level and Cancellation Policy outlined. Payments can be made by online banking or cheque (1.5% discount on tour fare), or by Visa or Mastercard.

  • Early Booking Bonus: Receive a $160 discount on the first 10 seats and $80 on the next 6 seats for booking early with deposit. The discount is not offered after November 25, 2025.

  • Cancellation Policy: U p t o O ctober 2 4, 2 025, t he cancellation charge is $50 per person. From October 25 to November 25, the cancellation charge is $200 per person (your deposit). From November 26 to December 22, the cancellation charge is 70% of the tour fare. After December 22, there is no refund.

  • Itinerary and Fare Changes: ur m any s uppliers may notify us about changes to the itinerary prior to departure and sometimes during the tour. We do our best to substitute a similar service if something cancels, but occasionally the only alternative is to provide a refund for the missed activity. Please note that if we are forced to cancel a tour component due to an issue beyond our control, the current penalties still apply if you choose to cancel the entire tour. Fuel surcharges and changes to taxes or other tour costs can occur at any time, therefore Wells Gray Tours reserves the right to increase fares due to such changes up to departure. The preliminary schedule for the Scotties could change.

  • Game Delays or Cancellations: The Scotties games could be delayed, postponed, cancelled, or rescheduled for a variety of reasons that are beyond our control. We know that this would be disappointing for our customers, but the only refund we might obtain for you would be the actual ticket price of the game. The flight, hotel, motorcoach, and other tour services are all prepaid and are non-refundable at short notice.

  • Flight Delays or Cancellations: In the event flights are delayed or cancelled by airlines due to weather or other reasons, there may be additional costs to you. Wells Gray Tours will not pay for hotel rooms and meals during the delay. Most travel insurance policies cover expenses incurred for flight delays.

  • Travel Insurance: A Comprehensive Insurance policy is available through Wells Gray Tours and coverage is provided by Travel Guard. Policies purchased at deposit include a waiver of the pre-existing condition clause for medical and cancellation claims, otherwise policies can be purchased no later than at final payment. This tour stays in Canada, but medical costs can vary wildly from one province to another. While your BC Services Card may partly cover you for a medical issue that arises during the tour, you will probably benefit from trip cancellation and trip interruption coverage in case of illness or a mishap before or during the tour. Many other benefits such as luggage insurance are included. Medical questionnaire is not needed. Please contact us for details. If you have your own travel insurance, please read the policy carefully to be sure that you are adequately covered for medical, cancellation, interruption, and luggage.

  • Photo Credits: Curling Canada (all).

  • Experience Points or E-points: This tour earns 70 e-points. Each time you travel on a Wells Gray tour, you earn e-points that are added to your account after the tour returns. One e-point equals $1. Redeem your earned points on select tours or accumulate enough points to earn a free tour! Redemptions offered until November 25, 2025.
