Flight was just under 9 hours;
"aired" = flight
"American" = airline
"wealthy" or rich in Spanish is Rica
"shipwreck" is Costa Concordia
Out of that you get Costa Rica.
Slim Hodgson and Lynne Totten were the only 2 who got at least 2 parts of Clue #2 correct, so both won a $20 gift certificate.
October 27 -- Up early for a 4:30 breakfast at the hotel, off to the airport to board our American Airlines flight to Dallas, Texas, then to San Jose, Costa Rica. We had 2 hours in Dallas, then another 4 hours in the air and landed about 8:30 pm in San Jose. After immigration, our guide Danny was waiting with a big "Wells Gray Mystery tour" sign. Luggage had already been separated by porters and put on big carts, then we walked out to the coach. We had a delicious welcome dinner on the 17th floor of the Holiday Inn and enjoyed a night view of the city. Then we went to the luxury Crowne Plaza Hotel for overnight.
Happy birthday today to Vivian McLaughlin who turned 91.
