Autumn in Rocky Mountain Luxury

Fall is the perfect time to take a holiday! The days are shorter but often sunny with mild temperatures and autumn’s bright fall colours add a new dimension to the landscape. The hustle and bustle of the summer crowds are now just a distant memory, the resorts are less crowded and prices are more affordable. It is also a time when many resorts cater to retirees and seniors, so it is a great time to head out!

We have combined all the of the elements of a great fall getaway in our tour to the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge. This beautiful resort, set in the majestic Rocky Mountains is a perfect setting for enjoying fall colours, activities, entertainment, gourmet food and friendship.

The Jasper Park Lodge loves its fall guests and has created a variety of special programs for seniors. We stay at the Jasper Park Lodge for three nights to ensure our guests have time to journey into town for shopping, relax in the spa or indulge in the many activities the Lodge offers. A sampling of those activities may include organized hikes, lectures on history, nature or photography, soapstone carving, or jewelry making. A list of this year’s current offerings will be available in our offices closer to the departure date.

Cocktail receptions, gourmet meals, evening entertainment and dancing are all included to make your getaway even more memorable.

Of course no trip to the Rockies is complete without a stop at Lake Louise, or the opportunity to view the Columbia Icefields, so we’ve made them a part of your getaway.

Friendships are celebrated and new ones created on these journeys and this tour is so popular we have even added a second coach.

So what are you waiting for? Enlist your favourite travel companions and set out to enjoy one of Canada’s best fall experiences.
